Naomi is a unique girl. She speaks her mind , and is bold and daring. That’s the absolute truth. Even though I’ve only spent four years with Naomi it’s enough to make some interesting, and funny memories. A few years ago, Naomi, Teniola , Malvika and I went to the park near her house . We were all bursting for the toilet and all we saw around us was bushes. You do not want to know what happened next. Another memory was when Naomi and I made cocktails, but not the alcoholic type. We dipped our glasses in water and covered the edges in plenty of sugar. When we had finished the plate of sugar was quite empty. She’s an excellent berry picker as well. I couldn’t get one foot into the raspberry bush, but Naomi leapt in like a pro and filled her hands to the brim with them. Your really a wonderful friend and I’m very privileged to be able to share my memories with all the people here. Even though we all go to different schools, our friendship hasn’t changed. Congratulations, mazel tov, ON YOUR BAT MITZVAH<\/p>\n

Naomi you have been one of my closest friends since year three. During my times at Saint Margaret’s you were always there to cheer me up when I was sad or to make me happier when I was happy. I remember how we used to play this game called the pebble game where we would pick pebbles off the floor and pretend they were people. We would play for literally the whole lunch time. I remember that in year five or year six we would talk to each other or I would sing one of those insanely stupid songs I made up with Aweni and we would laugh our very strange laughs. Naomi am extremely happy that you get to have this important day of your life and I wouldn’t want to share any of my memories with anyone else.<\/p>\n
MALVIKA<\/strong><\/p>\n
I have known Naomi since we were 7 years old. Naomi is a very unique girl, she is a very independent and clever, a girl who I know is capable of taking over the world, and Naomi, I want you to know that you can count on me to be there, whenever you need me. I am grateful for St Margaret\u2019s, without which we would have never met and the four of us would not have been able to create the amazing memories we have had.<\/p>\n
Naomi you are an amazing friend. I remember our \u2018spy\u2019 games \u2013 We\u2019d practice our karate moves thinking we were the coolest kids in the playground, taking on the bad guys and using our teamwork to defeat them. I am pretty sure that when you shouted my code name, dragonfly, Mrs Gary thought that the two of us were complete weirdoes, which I technically cannot argue with. *Laugh*<\/p>\n
On the last day of year six, Teniola, Bhamini, Naomi and I went to Pizza Express. That was a very hard day for all of us, saying goodbye to our friends and teachers. We got into quite a deep chat and just opened up to each other about our worries of moving on to senior school. Naomi gave me some great advice which I will remember forever.<\/p>\n
Naomi, I just want to say thank you for everything and believe me, there are many things that I owe you for. I am so grateful that I have a friend like you and I know that we will remain friends forever x<\/p>\n

Liz \u2013hello everyone I\u2019m Elizabeth and this is Abi and welcome to our speech!<\/p>\n
Abi- We\u2019ve known Naomi for just over 6 months and she\u2019d become one of our best friends<\/p>\n
Liz – She never fails to make us laugh with her hilarious jokes and random quotes!<\/p>\n
Abi \u2013 she is by far one of the funniest people we have ever met, apart from myself of course!<\/p>\n
Liz- We have \u00a0had some amazing memories with Naomi like \u2026<\/p>\n
Abi- on the first day we actually thought she was quiet \u2026<\/p>\n
Liz \u2013 oh how we were wrong!<\/p>\n
Abi \u2013 In English when we mess around with \u2018table talk \u2018and get\u00a0 barely anything done ..<\/p>\n
Liz \u2013Naomi surprised us by being amazing at accents!!!<\/p>\n
Abi \u2013 She\u2019s kind, random, Funny, brave , cheesy \u2026we could go on for ages !<\/p>\n
Liz – and I doubt we\u2019ll ever meet someone quiet like Naomi!<\/p>\n
Abi- It\u2019s a friendship we never expected to make!<\/p>\n

Good evening I am Alisha.\u00a0 I have known Naomi for about one and a half years.<\/p>\n

Good evening I am Alisha.\u00a0 I have known Naomi for about one and a half years.<\/p>\n
Hi I am Ishani and I have known Naomi for approximately 7 months.<\/span><\/p>\n
When I first joined St Margaret\u2019s in year 6, I knew Naomi would be a perfect friend for me as she is funny and smart, just like me.<\/p>\n
I may not be in Naomi\u2019s class but I am in her maths class and she always talks about Dan and Phil, who are youtubers.<\/p>\n
In my view Naomi is very good at science, which is her favourite subject – she really is the mad scientist and she got 100% in her test even though she didn\u2019t even revise!\u00a0 She\u2019s kind of like a nutty professor.<\/p>\n
Naomi is also amazing at maths as she got 96% in her test.\u00a0 She always talks about sci-fi and doctor who, but it is not her fault as maths is boring.<\/p>\n
She is also quite sporty and she is best at netball.\u00a0 She always marks me so I never get the ball.\u00a0 She is a great player and she should join the team.<\/p>\n
Now, we would just like to say, Naomi, you look amazing today especially as we have really only seen you in your school uniform.<\/p>\n
Thank you for inviting us to have a great time. It\u2019s been \u00a0really nice.<\/p>\n
We are both truly honoured to be her friend and we hope that our friendship will continue for many years.\u00a0 You are very fun to be around as we are very passionate and interested in the same things.<\/p>\n
She may not be in my class but she\u2019s still a great friend. Alisha and I hope she is enjoying here bat mitzvah as much as us.<\/p>\n

We would also like to thank Naomi\u2019s parents for this great event. Today has been a very fun and interesting, we are honoured to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience.<\/p>\n

Honi Pein’s Toast<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
Family, Friends, Mum, Dad and especially my little sister Naomi,<\/p>\n
I would like to begin by saying of course, how fantastic Naomi was in shul yesterday! I\u2019m so proud and can\u2019t believe how grown up she is.<\/p>\n
In fact, I have been rather in denial recently concerning how grown up Naomi is. A couple months ago Mum and Dad decided it was OK to let Naomi walk home from the bus stop in the dark. I objected strongly but was met with such arguments as \u2018you did it when you were her age\u2019 and \u2018you have to let go\u2019, however I was so strongly convinced that she was still a foetus that despite losing my argument with mum and dad, I was just not having it. So I agreed to go back and walk Naomi home myself, which I have to admit Naomi was not particularly pleased about.<\/p>\n
Actually, this \u201cover-protectiveness\u201d has been in me for quite some time.\u00a0 When I was 4 and Naomi was 2, one of her two year-old friends began to wheel her away from me in a mini trolley, which of course she was enjoying immensely. Having seen this, I ran up to my parents and began frantically telling them, \u2018you cant let him take her away! Why aren\u2019t you doing anything?!\u2019 and generally condemning their poor attempts at parenting whilst they tried to calm me down.<\/p>\n
Even though I do my best to protect her from the horror<\/em> that is the world, I know she will always be there for me when I want<\/strong> her and a considerable amount of time when I don\u2019t want<\/strong> her, too. But I know in the future, she will always be there for me, when I need<\/u><\/strong> her to be.<\/p>\n
I guess this all just shows how much I love my sister and I am grateful to everyone here who has come to share this special day with her.\u00a0 I hope you enjoy this evening.<\/p>\n

Honi, thank you for your lovely speech and for helping me today. Honi \u00a0does a great job as an older sister.\u00a0 She makes me laugh and forcibly does my makeup.\u00a0 Honi, I know that there is no better friend than a sister. But there is no sister better than you. Thank you for always being there for me, Please come up and get this present that I have chosen for you. I hope you like it.<\/p>\n
I forgot to mention that Honi and I have great fun with dad as he is the only man in the house.\u00a0 He wont let us talk about girly things around him.\u00a0 Dad gives us a lot of fun for example even when there isn\u2019t snow dad takes Honi and me out sledging in the mud.\u00a0 I think dad has more fun that we do.\u00a0 And to mum, who gives me hugs when I need them.\u00a0 Makes me my special comfort food \u00a0when I have a sore throat \u00a0and listens to me even when she is busy.\u00a0 Mum and dad are always in the background supporting me and letting me shine<\/p>\n
For all the love and laughs you give me mum and dad, I have something to give you<\/p>\n
I am very grateful that I have my friends and family here to share this special weekend with me. Thank you for coming yesterday to hear my Dvor Torah, a part of which was about \u00a0uncle Mark who I have never met but I have heard so much about. I am sorry that he cannot share this day with us \u00a0but I am very thankful that my other aunts and uncles are here today.\u00a0 You have been such a large part of my life so far.\u00a0 Uncle Simeon always asks me who my favourite uncle is , I still wont answer . I will always have the picture of him shirtless, in a field, eating corn from that field, in front of a DO NOT EAT sign. He is not a man who obeys the rules.\u00a0 Hopefully he will behave himself tonight<\/p>\n

No Mrs Adams shouting at us for not sticking things in our books, no sprinting in the freezing cold with no track suit bottoms on, no broken needles to complain about in the sewing machines.\u00a0 But I will miss science and I will miss my friends over this break<\/p>\n
